Hello I’m Akira, a digital artist, designer and creative from London. I specialise in creating lavish ethereal imagery, often with a dark edge.
After 10 years of working as a graphic designer, art director and illustrator for various established brands and startups, I started to experiment with mixing my art, graphic design and illustration skills with my photography. My signature work often integrates multiple manipulated imagery and digital painting to create realistic dreamscapes.
My passion for creativity, coming up with concepts and seeing them through to completion means I have been able to work across a multitude of media, including fashion, motion graphics, digital and print advertising, magazine, image manipulation for film promotion, app, product, packaging and brand design. As well as set up and run my own wearable art label from 2012-2019.
In addition to working as a designer, I’m also a fully qualified teacher specialising in digital design. I have created, developed and delivered courses on Adobe Photoshop digital art, wearable art and social media content creation for specialised art schools.
If you are looking for an ambitious designer- obsessed with colour palettes, to help develop your project, OR if youʼre a Nigerian prince who wants to offer me a lot of money, feel free to contact me via the form below.
